Double-walled cardboard wardrobe boxes are ideal for shipping large amounts of draperies and curtains to minimize wrinkling. Neatly fold each panel lengthwise, place over a padded hanger, pin securely and hang in the wardrobe. Fill the wardrobe with as much draperies and curtains as possible so the items will not slide the bar during transit.

For smaller volumes of draperies and curtains, they can be individually folded, with acid-free tissue paper in between, and packed in cardboard boxes. Avoid using colored tissue paper as they may bleed and stain fabrics.

Neatly arrange the draperies in stacks inside a sturdy cardboard box lined with bubble wrap. make sure that all empty spaces are filled with bubble wrap or tissue paper to prevent the items from moving.

Close and seal the box with tape. Address and label the package and take to your local post office or shipping company.
