Not all women are blessed with long and lush eyelashes that is why false eyelashes are some of the most popular beauty products. These eyelash extensions come in strips or clusters and are applied using a special adhesive glue. False eyelashes may be made of human hair, silk strands, animal fur, synthetic hair or feather. They are also available in various lengths, colors, and thicknesses, from natural-looking to glamorous, as well as dramatic.
Depending on the brand and quality, false eyelashes can be reused and last through multiple wears if well maintained. To keep “falsies” in good shape, gently remove the glue and eye make up after every use with makeup remover. Also, place them back in their tray to maintain their natural shape and prevent them from getting damaged or lost.
When shipping false eyelashes, they must be stored in sturdy cases to keep their shape and avoid flattening them up. Here are some tips on how to properly pack and ship false eyelashes.
For brand new lashes, keep them in their cases, making sure that the container is well sealed and will not pop open. Place the case/s in a sturdy box and fill any empty space with tissue paper or bubble wrap to prevent movement. close and seal the box with packaging tape. Address and label the package and its ready to be shipped.
If for whatever reason you need to ship used “falsies,” clean the lashes thoroughly with eye makeup remover before storing them in their cases. Carefully remove all traces of glue, mascara, and eye makeup. This is not only hygienic but it also good for the longevity of the eyelashes. Once dry, place the lashes back on their half-moon trays and press the band gently onto the curve. This will keep the band in shape and flexible. Then place them in the snap-shut plastic containers and pack them in a box following the procedure mentioned above.
