Fold the chair to its smallest size possible. Place it in its own carrying case if available. If not, wrap the chair in a couple of layers of bubble wrap.
Get a shipping box that is big enough to accommodate the beach chair and allows extra space for packing materials. Place the chair inside the box and fill empty spaces with packing materials such as bubble wrap, packing peanuts, and crumpled packing paper to ensure that it will not shift during transit.
