An MP3 Player is a portable digital device capable of storing and playing digital audio files. Despite the emergence of smartphones and tablets which have the same capabilities plus more features, the MP3 player remains a popular gadget when it comes to playing music because of its portability.

Usually compact and light-weight, an MP3 player can be easily clipped into clothing or placed in a pocket while jogging, shopping, or doing other activities. The device usually comes with a set of earphones or can be plugged into a car stereo system to listen to audio books or music while driving, eliminating the need to bring audio CDs. Depending on their memory and features, MP3 players come in a range of prices that can fit any budget and requirement.

Shipping an MP3 player is a simple task but proper packing is essential to ensure that it arrives without any damage.  Here are tips on how to properly pack and ship an MP3 player.

An MP3 player is best shipped double boxed in its original packaging. Make sure that the device and its accompanying accessories (earphones, charger) fit snugly in the box and do not move around. Use pieces of bubble wrap to fill empty spaces to keep it immobile.

If the original packaging is not available, wrap the player and accessories in bubble wrap and place in a box with ample packaging materials all around so they don’t rattle and bump into each other. Double box with sufficient packing materials to prevent movement. If you used a very sturdy shipping box and provided enough cushioning materials, you make skip double boxing the package.

Close and the box and seal with packaging tape. Address and label the package and bring it to your local post office of the shipping company.
