It scrubs, vacuums and filters the water leaving the pool clean, fresh and ready for use. To safely and successfully ship a pool cleaner such as the Aquabot, follow the steps enumerated below.
Get the Aquabot’s dimensions to have an idea of how big a box you need to ship it in. If the original box for the device is still available, simply place the unit into the box and measure the box’s dimensions.
Place the Aquabot into the box and fill any vacant space with packing material such as packing peanuts. Make sure that the device sits securely in the box without moving around. This will prevent the device from shifting inside the box and get damaged during transit.
Close the box and seal with packaging tape to shut it securely.
Address and label the box for shipping.
Take the package to the post office and determine how much postage is required to ship it to the destination. The cost will vary depending on if the recipient is domestic or international. You can also add insurance to the package or ship it in a higher class of mail to make sure it gets to the destination on time and intact.
